New Development in Finite Element Analysis

Organized by Ping Lin

Rationale

The Finite Element Method is the most common method to simulate complex technical processes. It has applications in almost all practical fields. New models and new methods are constantly developed and thus require new techniques in analysis. It is not possible for this minisymposium to cover all aspects of new development in finite element analysis. It will bring together a few people who work on theory of finite element methods and address a few challanges for models arising from fluid and solid mechanics and possible electromagnetism.
