Numerical Methods for Multicomponent Flows

Rationale
Multicomponent fluid dynamics models arise in many
different applications and importance of development of highly accurate
and reliable numerical methods for such models cannot be overestimated.
Though most existing multifluid numerical methods are based on extensions
of single fluid approaches, derivation of new genuinely multi-component
techniques is absolutely necessary due to the presence of fluid
interfaces and interactions between the flow components.
In this minisymposium, speakers will describe their
latest progress in development of new numerical methods and improvement
of existing ones.
