Café Mathématique is a series of informal gatherings dedicated to sharing ideas by connecting prospective and current students, alumni, professors, and the community. This time, we want to connect you,

our new BSc students (Year-2 and non-JUPAS Year-3),
to
our current math students in the 4-year cohort.

Instead of stumbling through the transition to life as a new Math/Stat major on your own, it is often more useful to learn from your fellow peers who have already been there before. Which courses should you take? What is it like to be a Mathematics/Statistics major? Are there any internship/exchange opportunities? Current students will be here to provide you with a sense of the university life to come and, more importantly, the traps to avoid. Our teachers will also bring you much useful information. And of course refreshments will be served, so just relax and come chit chat with us!
