Café Mathématique

Please join us for an informal gathering to
get a hint of what to expect next year

Café Mathématique is a series of informal gatherings dedicated to sharing ideas by connecting prospective and current students, alumni, professors, and the community. This time, we want to connect you,

our first year science students,
to
our current math students in the 4-year cohort.

The Math Department cares about you and your university experience. Instead of stumbling through the formal procedures on your own, it is often more useful to learn from your fellow peers who have already been in your situation. Which GE courses should you take? How’s the workload when all of your courses are offered from a single department? Current year 2 and 3 students will be here to provide you with a sense of the university life to come and, more importantly, the traps to avoid. Extra information (such as future career and salary prospects, postgraduate studies) will be provided to help you set a clear goal as soon as possible. Refreshments will be served, so come chit chat with a drink and snack in hand.

When: Friday, March 27, 2015, from 5:30-6:30pm

Where: WLB301 (Pacific Coffee)
