The 1997 International Symposium on Contemporary Multivariate Analysis and its Applications will be held on May 19-22 in Hong Kong. Scholars from different disciplines will meet together to discuss recent advances in the theory and application of contemporary multivariate analysis. Following this symposium there will be a workshop on Experimental Design. This announcement provides information on how you can participate. Included are a brief schedule of events, the registration form and instructions for authors. We look forward to seeing you in Hong Kong.

The Symposium is hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University and sponsored by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics & Probability, Chinese Association of Probability & Statistics and Hong Kong Statistical Society. The International Program Committee and the Local Organising Committee are making every effort to ensure a stimulating academic program in the best possible environment.
