Objectives

The objective of this project is to develop a toolkit based on heterogeneous information fusion from CCTV and RFID for customer behavior and sales knowledge acquisition. This toolkit will enable retail companies to accumulate sales knowledge and customer behavior for retail management. In particular, it will be very useful to facilitate and support marketing decision in retail networks management.

 

Over the past few years, the members of this project team have been intensively engaged in research and development of related technologies, including image processing, data mining, operational research and network optimization, and customer behavior analysis in international journal and conference publications. These existing R&D results and expertise provide a good foundation for developing the above technologies and tools.
