The next Foundations of Computational Mathematics conference will take place at the City University of Hong Kong at Hong Kong, China, on 16-26 June 2008. We are organizing titled "WORKSHOP B4 Foundations of numerical PDEs" (ORGANISERS: Weinan E, Christoph Schwab, Tao Tang & Jinchao Xu).

International Conference On Spectral and High Order Methods (ICOSAHOM07): was held in Beijing from June 19-22, 2007.

The 3rd East Asia SIAM Conference was held from 2-5 November 2007 in Xiamen, China.

First intake of Double Master Degrees in Operational Research and Statistics will begin in Fall 2007. You can also view the adevertisement in Chinese.
Hong Kong Baptist University received a donation of 10 million Hong Kong dollars from Wofoo Foundation Limited on November 16 2005 in support of the University's development. Among the donation, 1.5 million will be donated to our Department and the Peking University-HKBU Joint Research Institute for Applied Mathematics.
The 2nd International Conference on Structured Matrices (ICSM 2006) was held at our University from June 8-11, 2006.
