Symposium on Theory and Applications of Uniform Design
均勻設計理論及其應用研討會

 The "Symposium on Theory and Applications of Uniform Design" is jointly organized by the Statistics Research and Consultancy Centre, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and the Uniform Design Association of China, and is held at HKBU in October 26-29, 1999.

The uniform design has become one of the major factorial experimental designs and the designs of computer experiments nowadays.  It has been widely used in various fields, such as natural sciences, industry, pharmaceutics, system engineering, and survey designs.  As a result, several research papers have been published in international refereed journals.  The uniform design has been an important tool in research and will definitely contribute to the development of high-technology related industry in Hong Kong.

Around 70 participants from China attended the symposium and 52 papers are submitted.  The papers have been published in the proceedings.  The titles and the abstracts of the papers are listed.

由香港浸會大學統計學研究及諮詢中心及中國均勻設計學會共同組織的"均勻設計理論及其應用研討會"已於1999年10月26至29日在香港浸會大學持續教育學院順利舉行。約有70位代表，52篇報告參加研討會，名單及摘要請看下表。
