Dear New Math Students,

We would like to invite you to join our New Math Students Orientation next Tuesday, Sept 15, 2020, 3:00 pm via Zoom, which is a casual briefing and gathering welcoming you to the Department of Mathematics.

Instead of stumbling through the transition to life as a new Math/Stat major on your own, it is often more useful to seek advice from people with the knowledge and the experience. Which courses should you take? What is it like to be a Mathematics/Statistics major? Are there any internship/exchange opportunities? Our teachers will bring you much useful information about our department.

You will also have a chance to talk with your academic advisors, who will offer you much help in years to come. Breakout rooms will be arranged for free discussion. Don't miss out and come chit chat with us!
