PROCEEDINGS OF MCQMC 2000
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Like the proceedings of the earlier MCQMC conferences, the proceedings of this conference will be published by Springer-Verlag. Thus, wide distribution and excellent marketing of the proceedings are guaranteed. Harald Niederreiter, Kai-Tai Fang, and Fred Hickernell will serve as the editors of the proceedings.

Everyone is invited to submit a full paper based on his or her plenary, special session or contributed presentation. Each submission will be strictly refereed and there will be a limit on the size of the volume. As a guideline, manuscripts not based on plenary talks should not exceed 15 pages and should preferably be quite a bit shorter. These manuscripts should contain original research contributions not published elsewhere.

The manuscripts must be submitted in camera-ready form and should follow the style of the Springer series Lecture Notes in Computational Science and Engineering for multi-author books. The style files cl2emult.cls for the preparation of camera-ready manuscripts in a LaTeX2e environment can be found in the Web at

ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/math/proc/author

or

ftp://ftp.math.hkbu.edu.hk/pub/MCQMC2000

Under the heading LaTeX2e of "LNCSE" and then download the files. The "1readme.PDF" file gives instructions to authors.

Submit 3 hardcopies of the manuscript by mail as well as a postscript file by e-mail to Prof. Harald Niederreiter at the address below. This material should arrive by March 31, 2001.
