Welcome Reception A Welcome Reception will be held at the Lam Woo International Conference Center from 7:00pm - 8:30pm on Sunday, November 26 for participants to pick up their conference kits and to enable them to meet each other. A shuttle bus will pick up participants at Regal Riverside Hotel at 6:20pm to take them to the Reception and return at 8:30pm.
Lunches and Tea Breaks In order to facilitate informal discussion among participants complimentary lunches and tea breaks will be provided. The tea breaks will be held outside the lecture halls. Lunches will be held in the Renfrew Seafood Restaurant, located one floor above the lecture halls. Guests wishing to join the lunches may purchase tickets at the information desk at a subsidised price of HK$60.
Conference Banquet The Conference banquet will be held on Thursday night, November 30, at the Treasure Floating Restaurant in Shatin. Participants will enjoy a Chinese banquet. Conference participants may attend the banquet at no extra charge. Guests may attend the banquet by purchasing a ticket in advance at the information desk at a subsidised price of HK$400. A shuttle bus will take participants and guests to the restaurant and back to hotel after the banquet. The bus will leave Lam Woo International Conference Center at 6:30pm.
Book Sales The Hong Kong Baptist University campus bookstore and Springer-Verlag will host a book exhibition during the Conference. Academic books, including some of those authored by the speakers, will be available for sale at a discount.
